Year 6 Museum Trip
For our local history topic, we visited The Bombed-Out Church so we can compare it to St Nicholas’ Church, later today. We are here at Western Approaches and understanding how women and men were recruited for WW2.
Harvest Festival Celebration

Children’s University Assembly
Laura from Sefton CU came to our school today to talk to all our children. This was a fantastic incentive to encourage them all to learn new skills and try different activities.
Helping Others
We are so proud of one of our children who has helped raise £800 for Clatterbridge Cancer Centre by doing a 10km walk! What an achievement!
Bikeability
Year 5 have been successful in completing their Bikeability course this week. Well done! Happy cycling.
The Footy Instructor Session
Tosh Farrell and Mike Dickinson from The Footy Instructor are coaching Year 6 this afternoon. The children enjoyed learning lots of new skills.
Visit to Holy Family – Year 6
Year 6 children had a great day today at Holy Family, they got to experience typical high school lessons and activities, they all had lots of fun.
Graduation Party
What a brilliant time all of the Year 6 children had at this year’s graduation. They all had amazing night.. A big thank you to the PTFA for organising it all and to all the staff who helped out.
Leavers’ Mass
Year 6 celebrated their Mass on the very special feast of St Benedict. They truly read from the heart to celebrate their time together, thanked everyone who has supported them and showed what truly exceptional people they are.
Sports Day
What a brilliant time all our children had at our sports day this year! They took part in the egg and spoon race, sack race, three-legged race and running events.
